Three templates cover the Model 3, and picking the right one matters more than any design decision you make afterwards. The 2024 Highland has a different panel layout from the car before it, so a design built on the older template lands in the wrong places — the file is valid, it just does not fit.

Panel counts are read from each template's own zone map. More panels means more of the body can be coloured separately; the Cybertruck's five are the whole body, which is why intricate designs do not read well on it.
